Join us for the next Tech and Toast, March 23 at the Hotel Roanoke. This Tech and Toast will feature a moderated panel of local leaders who will be discussing RAMP, a new technology business accelerator program soon to open in downtown Roanoke. Panelists will offer an overview of the project, an update on its current status, and will answer audience questions.

RAMP is a partnership between Virginia Western Community College, Roanoke City, and the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council. Entrepreneurs who seek to scale up their companies can apply to participate in RAMP, which stands for “Regional Acceleration and Mentoring Program”. The program will be housed in the historic Gill Memorial Hospital building at 709 S. Jefferson St., along the recently announced downtown Health Sciences and Technology Innovation District. Support for RAMP comes from a broad public/private partnership that draws on leaders in higher education, government, and the region’s growing technology community.

  • Marc Nelson, Special Projects Coordinator, City of Roanoke
